This is a very large complicated battle designed for email play. It does not
do very well against the A.I. The A.I. seems real un willing to move the
armor across the bridges nor will it try to breakout of the beach head.
So if you desire to play against your computer play as German or go ahead
and be Russian and cross the river the other way and hunt the Hun. That
might even be fun now that I think about it, of course goes against the
historical aspects of this battle, by the way, which really did take place.
I took a few liberaties with the map, the rail head is really a lot farther
east, but Pervomays"k is a real town on the bug and the 16th did fight here
and since all I could find out about the Russians was that a several Mech
Corps counter attacked in this area, I kinda took some artistic liberty as
to who and with what. Most of the German units are historical except there
may be a few more in this than were really there, this came about trying to
even the odds so neither side just blows away the other. Call it playability.

I put the German objectives in the beach head in an attemp to get the A.I.
to cross the river but it was the same either way and I removed some I had
on the roads leading off the russian side of the map but they pulled in the
russian armour like giant magnets. So if playing against the puter the
russian should now move his armor up to meet the hun. I also used some real
low percentages on the reinforciments schedule, this is to increase the
uncertainty of the game, you just don't know when those T-34's or 88's
will show up :-)

For humans, playing German, Breakout as fast as you can and get your armor
into Ruskies back field, the Russians will be getting stronger every turn.
Russians, Hold the Germans on the river as long as you can, you have a
reinforced Tank Army on the way. Once the Germans break out, if they do,
it should turn into a game of wits requireing multiple stratagies, with
fire fights breaking out all over the place. There should always be a
flank to be turned or a way to move around strong points. Lots of tactical
moves and always trying to maintain a reserve to move on a hot spot. At
least that was my intention in the design.

Please when distributing the battle try to keep this Txt file with it and
